Softball Recap: Lapel Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

Lapel won the last time they faced New Castle and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Trojans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Lapel's win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Delaney Balser, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Laylah Gore was another, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Lapel was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Castle only posted a batting average of .250.
