Basketball Recap: Thomas-Fay-Custer Comes Up Short

Thomas-Fay-Custer suffered their biggest loss since February 15, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Canute Trojans, falling 53-30. While losing is never fun, the Terriers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 170th, while the Trojans are ranked 32nd).

Thomas-Fay-Custer's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Canute, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-2.

Thomas-Fay-Custer will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Canute has already played their next match, a 52-28 victory against Hydro-Eakly on the 25th.
