Basketball Recap: Jacksonville Comes Up Short

Jacksonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Glenwood Titans and fell 65-7. The game marked the Crimsons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Addy Johnson and Sydney Vedder, who each put up three points.

Glenwood was led to victory by Rowann Law and Alexis Neumann. Law dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards, while Neumann dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Neumann has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Layne Matthew, who posted five points and three steals.

Jacksonville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-24. As for Glenwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Jacksonville has already played their next game, a 67-23 loss against MacArthur on the 1st. As for Glenwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 40-35 win against Sacred Heart-Griffin on the 29th.
