Baseball Game Preview: Fresno Christian Eagles vs. Fowler Redcats

Fresno Christian is 0-10 against Fowler since April of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Eagles will host the Redcats at 4:00 p.m. Fresno Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Fresno Christian is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of Sierra.

Joseph Davila made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Fresno Christian's success: when he posts at least one home run the team is 3-1 (and 6-12 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Kubota, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and four runs.

Meanwhile, Fowler unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 7-2 to Tulare Western. The contest marked the Redcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Fowler's loss dropped their record down to 19-3. As for Fresno Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.
