Volleyball Recap: King Cove Takes a Loss

King Cove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Sand Point Eagles/Lady Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles/Lady Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 23-25, 25-19.

King Cove's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Sand Point, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

While King Cove had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on November 7.
