Volleyball Game Preview: Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Thunderbirds vs. Morgan Trojans

The Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Thunderbirds will face off against the Morgan Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Utah Military Academy - Hill Field took on Freedom Prep Academy on Wednesday. The Thunderbirds fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Utah Military Academy - Hill Field actually scored more points across those five sets (101-100), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-20, 21-25, 14-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Morgan got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Ben Lomond. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Scots recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-14.

Utah Military Academy - Hill Field's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Morgan, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
