Volleyball Recap: Red Lodge Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Shepherd + How To Watch

Red Lodge faced Shepherd in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Rams lost 3-0 to the Mustangs. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Red Lodge was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Shepherd work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 29-27.

Izzy Elam paced Red Lodge's offense, picking up 11 kills. Elam got some help from Tacelyn Christman and her two assists.

Red Lodge's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Shepherd, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-2-1 record this season.
