Basketball Recap: Overton Comes Up Short at Home Against Hume-Fogg + How To Watch

Overton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 59-51 to the Hume-Fogg Blue Knights on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Overton's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of William Livingston, who went 8-for-17 on his way to 23 points and six steals, and Terry Slater Jr, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 14 points along with six boards and four steals.

Coming up, Overton will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Maplewood at 7:30 p.m. As for Hume-Fogg, they are taking a road trip to square off against Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
