Volleyball Recap: Peebles Comes Up Short

Peebles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-20, 25-16.

Peebles' defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Lynchburg-Clay, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Peebles will square off against Whiteoak at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lynchburg-Clay, they will face off against Georgetown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
