Dayton entered their tilt with Linden on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Tigers a 7-0 shutout. Considering Dayton have won four contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory got Dayton back to even at 6-6. As for Linden, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Dayton will head out to challenge Rahway at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Linden, they will take on Ferris at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
