Timpson has gone 10-0 against Garrison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Timpson Bears will be playing at home against the Garrison Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

Timpson is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Tenaha just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 51-41 to the Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 758th, while the Tigers are ranked 308th).

Meanwhile, Garrison waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Bearcats, posting a 68-37 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 25 points or more this season.

Garrison has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Timpson, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 13-13.

Everything came up roses for Timpson against Garrison in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 62-23 victory. Does Timpson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Garrison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
