Softball Recap: San Carlos Comes Up Short

San Carlos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 21-7 to the Pima Roughriders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Braves of the 8-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2016.

San Carlos' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Pima, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Carlos will head out to challenge Fort Thomas at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pima, they will face off against Willcox at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
