Soccer Recap: Nash Central Comes Up Short

Nash Central managed to keep up with SouthWest Edgecombe until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bulldogs came up short against the Cougars, falling 5-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Nash Central of the 7-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Nash Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for SouthWest Edgecombe, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

SouthWest Edgecombe has already played their next contest, a 5-3 loss against Rocky Mount on the 18th. Hopefully Nash Central paid attention to the Cougars' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
