Softball Game Preview: Oakville Acorns vs. Naselle Comets

For the second straight game, Oakville will face off against Naselle. The Acorns will challenge the Comets at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oakville is looking for their season's first victory.

Oakville couldn't beat Naselle on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Acorns lost 22-6 to the Comets.

Riyah Filitaula made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in two of her three plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Damia Tartios also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Naselle and bumps their season record up to 4-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.5 runs over those games. As for Oakville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
