Football Game Preview: Versailles Tigers vs. Adrian Blackhawks

The Versailles Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Adrian Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Versailles comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Versailles faced off against Warsaw on Friday. The Tigers were beaten by the Wildcats 62-6. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Wildcats are ranked 67th).

Meanwhile, after only 12 points in their last game, Adrian made sure to put some points up on the board against Butler on Friday. The Blackhawks came out on top against the Bears by a score of 39-28. Considering the Blackhawks' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Versailles' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Adrian, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.
