Preview: Logan View/Scribner-Snyder vs. Oakland-Craig Knights
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against The Oakland-Craig Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Oakland-Craig is ranked 20th).
After soaring to 41 points the game before, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell to Louisville 12-7.
Meanwhile, Oakland-Craig had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.7 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They claimed a resounding 48-12 win over North Bend Central at home. With Oakland-Craig ahead 40-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Braylon Anderson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 101 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries. Corbin Guill was another key contributor, rushing for 52 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
Oakland-Craig's win bumped their season record to 7-1 while Logan View/Scribner-Snyder's defeat dropped theirs to 3-5.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder was taken down by Oakland-Craig 36-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Thankfully for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, Lj Mcneill (who rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries) won't be suiting up this time.
