Basketball Recap: Louise Comes Up Short

Louise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 35th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 53-29 to the Taft Greyhounds. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-15 last Thursday.

Louise's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Taft, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Louise and Bloomington will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Louise is facing Bloomington at the right time seeing as Bloomington is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Taft will take on Ingleside in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
