Recap: Vinemont Eagles vs. Fairview Aggies
There's no place like home for the Vinemont Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Fairview by a score of 44-33 on Tuesday. The victory was just what Vinemont needed coming off of a 75-54 defeat in their prior contest.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Vinemont to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reagan Robinson, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. The match was Robinson's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maggie Burks, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Vinemont has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Fairview, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Vinemont will be home for the holidays to greet Brindlee Mountain at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Brindlee Mountain will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 266th, while Vinemont is ranked 107th). As for Fairview, they will head out on the road to face off against Arab at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Arab will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
