Basketball Recap: West Mesa Falls Short Against Ranked Albuquerque

On Thursday, West Mesa faced Albuquerque in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The West Mesa Mustangs came up short against the Albuquerque Bulldogs, falling 60-36. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for West Mesa and nudges their season record down to 15-11. As for Albuquerque, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

As of now, neither West Mesa nor Albuquerque have any future games scheduled.
