West Limestone had already won 17 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it 18 on Friday. They came out on top against the Belvidere North Blue Thunder by a score of 4-1.

Belvidere North's batters probably weren't too happy with Katie Lyn Kyle, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 18 Ks (she gave up two walks). Kyle has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
