Basketball Recap: ROWVA/Williamsfield Takes a Loss

ROWVA/Williamsfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 57-49 to the Biggsville West Central Heat. The Cougars were probably out for revenge after losing 58-37 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Harlee Hainds was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 13 rebounds for Biggsville West Central. That's the most boards Hainds has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Addie Seitz, who posted 13 points.

ROWVA/Williamsfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Biggsville West Central, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-15.

ROWVA/Williamsfield has already played their next match (against Midwest Central/Delavan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Biggsville West Central will be playing at home against Brimfield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
