Volleyball Recap: Ruston Comes Up Short

Ruston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Central Wildcats. The Bearcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Ruston's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Ruston will take on Captain Shreve at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will head out to face off against Liberty Magnet at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
