Minster has won three straight games at home, while Shawnee has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Wildcats will host the Braves at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Minster 2.7, Shawnee 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
It was a proper cat-fight when Minster took on New Bremen on Tuesday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 14-1 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Brooklyn Osterloh made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Brianna Osterloh looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Reece Albers was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Rylin Trego was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.
Minster was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher in five consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Shawnee sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over North Union on Wednesday. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Alee Trimmer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up nine Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Addy Plummer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.
Minster has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Shawnee, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
