Basketball Recap: Como Park Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Como Park, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They snuck past the Minneapolis South Tigers with a 79-73 victory on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Como Park's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-3. As for Minneapolis South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Como Park will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Paul Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Minneapolis South and Duluth East will round out the year against one another at at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
