It was a good run, but Thomas Worthington unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 61-42 to the Africentric Early College Nubians. The CARDINALS were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Nubians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.

Thomas Worthington's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Africentric Early College, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thomas Worthington will finish 2024 at home by hosting Lakota East at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Africentric Early College, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Woodward at 5:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
