After losing to Morgan the last time they met, Marietta decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Marietta Tigers put the hurt on the Morgan Raiders with a sharp 74-49 victory on Saturday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 24 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Morgan still got an impressive performance from Cole McGill, who went 9 for 12 en route to 22 points. The dominant performance gave McGill a new career-high in points. Tavian Myers was another key player, putting up ten points.

Marietta's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Morgan, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marietta will venture away from home to take on East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marietta is facing East at the right time seeing as East is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Morgan, they will head out on the road to square off against Crooksville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crooksville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
