Softball Recap: Rockford Auburn Takes a Loss

Rockford Auburn lost against North Boone on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights came up short against the Vikings, falling 23-2. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rockford Auburn saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Parr, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Rockford Auburn's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for North Boone, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Rockford Auburn wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-1 victory against Jefferson on the 21st. As for North Boone, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-0 win against Dixon on the 21st.
