Wheatmore came out on top against Trinity on Tuesday thanks in part to Skylar Pittman's efforts. Pittman scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Pittman and Wheatmore will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on East Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. Pittman had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup two weeks ago 8-3. If she drops another game like that, the outcome could be different this time around.
