Softball Game Preview: East River Falcons vs. Winter Park Wildcats

East River hasn't had much luck against Winter Park recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

East River is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game last Wednesday. They came up short against Harmony, falling 13-6.

Tru Mastro was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one double. That home run was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Winter Park's offense. They lost 6-0 to Horizon last Thursday. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

East River's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Winter Park, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Winter Park's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: East River has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .434. It's a different story for Winter Park, though, as they've only averaged .343. Will they be able to contain East River's hitters?
