Baseball Recap: Bolton Takes a Loss

Bolton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 15-11 to the Windham RVT Mighty Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mighty Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-7 last Friday.

Caden Marcil was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Josh Wagner was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Bolton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Windham RVT, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bolton will take on Suffield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Windham RVT, they will head out to take on Wilcox RVT at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
