Soccer Game Preview: Gilpin County vs. Twin Peaks Classical Academy

The Gilpin County Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Twin Peaks Classical Academy Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Gilpin County is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Gilpin County didn't have quite enough to beat Fountain Valley and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Gilpin County have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Twin Peaks Classical Academy came up short against Addenbrooke Classical Academy on Wednesday, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Twin Peaks Classical Academy were already down 4-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Twin Peaks Classical Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-7-1. As for Gilpin County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-2.

Everything went Gilpin County's way against Twin Peaks Classical Academy when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Gilpin County made off with a 7-0 win.
