Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cottage). They were the clear victor by a 54-29 margin over the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf Panthers on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cougars have posted since December 5, 2024.

Cottage's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gabby Pressnall led the charge by putting up 20 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. The dominant performance gave Pressnall a new career-high in points. Finley Love was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.

Cottage was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Cottage's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10. As for Atlanta Area School for the Deaf, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cottage beat Atlanta Area School for the Deaf by a score of 44-27 on Thursday.
