Basketball Recap: Jones Finds Home Court Redemption Against St. Rita

There's no place like home for Jones, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the St. Rita Mustangs by a score of 69-60 on Tuesday. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Jones is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points over those games. St. Rita's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-23.

Jones didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 70-43 win against Senn on the 20th. As for St. Rita, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-47 victory against Andrew on the 20th.
