Legacy waltzed into their contest on Thursday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Horizon Hawks. That's more bragging rights for the Lightning, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Legacy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-15.
Aislin Oldach paced Legacy's offense, picking up 19 kills. Oldach got some help from Emma Gray and her 44 assists. Finally, Oldach was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.
