Basketball Game Preview: East Wake Warriors vs. Pinecrest Patriots

The East Wake Warriors will take on the Pinecrest Patriots at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between East Wake and Clayton, and Clayton kept the tradition alive. The Warriors took a 46-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets on Tuesday. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Pinecrest suffered their biggest loss since December 10, 2024 on Tuesday. They took a blow against South Mecklenburg, falling 76-25.

East Wake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pinecrest, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
