Soccer Recap: Santa Fe Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Santa Fe was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the Friendswood Mustangs, falling 5-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in February.

Santa Fe's loss dropped their record down to 12-5-4. As for Friendswood, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 16-2-1.

Santa Fe has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Texas City on the 7th. As for Friendswood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Angleton on the 7th.
