Greenville had to endure an eight-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Altamont Indians by a score of 57-47 on Saturday. The Comets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Greenville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Altamont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenville will be home for the holidays to greet Staunton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Altamont will take on North Clay/Clay City in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
