Soccer Recap: Milton Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Milton's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Framingham Flyers on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Milton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 156th, while Framingham are ranked fifth).

This is the second loss in a row for Milton and nudges their season record down to 3-7-3. As for Framingham, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milton will host Walpole at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Framingham, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Newton South at 12:00 p.m. Newton South's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
