Baseball Recap: Holy Cross Takes a Loss

Holy Cross lost against Bullitt Central back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Holy Cross fell 5-2 to Bullitt Central. Holy Cross has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holy Cross saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Drake, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Holy Cross' loss dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Bullitt Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season.

Holy Cross will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Lincoln County at 12:00 p.m. The Cougars are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Bullitt Central, they will head out to challenge North Hardin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
