Baseball Recap: Bear River Find Success

Bear River proved they can win big last Friday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the East Nicolaus Spartans, sneaking past 4-2.

Cooper Berry made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Berry was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cooper Lunsford, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

Bear River's record is now 2-0. As for East Nicolaus, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Bear River has already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Rosemont on the 27th. As for East Nicolaus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-2 defeat against Wheatland on the 28th.
