Smackover won the last time they faced McGehee and things went their way on Friday too. The Smackover Buckaroos blew past the McGehee Owls 10-4. Considering the Buckaroos have won three contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ava Walker was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Walker was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Taylor Darden, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Emily Camacho was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Smackover pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
