Volleyball Recap: Franklin Has No Trouble Against Carlisle

Franklin won the last time they faced Carlisle and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats blew past the Indians 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Greycen Lopez was the offensive standout of the contest as she had five digs and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Lopez wasn't the only good server: Franklin was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matches.

Franklin's record now sits at 7-4. As for Carlisle, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will challenge Edgewood at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carlisle, they will face off against Madison at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
