Northwest Cabarrus is 8-2 against East Rowan since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans will look to defend their home court against the East Rowan Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Northwest Cabarrus' favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while East Rowan has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Northwest Cabarrus will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Central Cabarrus, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Northwest Cabarrus managed a 57-52 victory over Central Cabarrus on Friday.

Meanwhile, East Rowan played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Concord, falling 62-28. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-11.

Northwest Cabarrus' win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for East Rowan, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.

Northwest Cabarrus took their victory against East Rowan when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 53-28. Does Northwest Cabarrus have another victory up their sleeve, or will East Rowan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
