Basketball Recap: Northpoint Christian Comes Up Short

Northpoint Christian lost against Brighton on December 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Northpoint Christian Trojans lost 59-36 to the Brighton Cardinals. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Northpoint Christian is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Brighton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Northpoint Christian will challenge West Memphis Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brighton, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Brighton Cardinals take on the Munford Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Brighton is facing Munford at the right time seeing as Munford is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
