UMS-Wright Prep is 7-2 against McGill-Toolen since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets at 4:00 p.m. UMS-Wright Prep has given up an average of 7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Things were looking good for UMS-Wright Prep after they put the first points on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Elberta, falling 16-5.

Meanwhile, McGill-Toolen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-4 to St. Michael Catholic. One positive for the Yellowjackets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Cara Morrow made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Addie Arensberg also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

McGill-Toolen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for UMS-Wright Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

UMS-Wright Prep beat McGill-Toolen 12-8 when the teams last played back in April of 2021. Will UMS-Wright Prep repeat their success, or does McGill-Toolen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
