Basketball Recap: Fairhope's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Fairhope was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Foley Lions. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Lions are ranked 15th).

Fairhope's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7. As for Foley, their victory bumped their record up to 17-2.

Fairhope will head out on the road to challenge Daphne at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Daphne will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Fairhope surely won't give up without a fight. As for Foley, they will take on Robertsdale at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Foley is facing Robertsdale at the right time seeing as Robertsdale is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
