Basketball Recap: Bad Axe Comes Up Short

Bad Axe was the 60-54 winner over Millington when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Bad Axe Hatchets received a blow on Friday as they fell 65-46 to the Millington Cardinals.

Bad Axe's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Millington, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Coming up, Bad Axe will challenge Laker at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Millington, they will venture away from home to take on Harbor Beach at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
