Softball Recap: Aletheia Christian Academy Lions vs. Booker T. Washington Wildcats
Aletheia Christian Academy barely beat Booker T. Washington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions blew past the Wildcats 14-5 on Tuesday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by seven runs or more this season.
Summer Smith made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Those hits were her first of the season. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
