Football Recap: Live Oak Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Live Oak, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Oroville Tigers 42-20 on Thursday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Ian Miranda was his usual excellent self, rushing for 284 yards and three scores while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. Those 284 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Bradley Perigo was in the mix as well, providing Live Oak with two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Live Oak was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 382 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Oroville still got an impressive performance from Ayden Morales, who rushed for 103 yards and a pair of TDs.

Live Oak's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-6. As for Oroville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
