Basketball Recap: Newington Takes a Loss

Newington lost against Platt back in March of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Newington Nor'easters took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Platt Panthers.

Newington's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Platt, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Newington is taking a road trip to face off against Plainville at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. As for Platt, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Wethersfield at 6:45 p.m.
